The East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a Band 6 Paediatric Sister/Charge Nurse for their busy Emergency Department at Conquest Hospital in St Leonards on Sea, which treats approximately 50,000 patients annually. Candidates should be qualified registered Children's Nurses with significant post-registration experience in Emergency Departments or general paediatrics, mentoring qualifications, and child protection experience. The role involves providing high-quality, individualized care, leading a team of paediatric nurses, and implementing effective nursing interventions. The successful candidate will also be responsible for monitoring care standards, addressing concerns from patients and their families, and managing paediatric minor illnesses and injuries.
