The role of Lead Dietitian for Eating Disorders at Haringey, within the 306 North London NHS Foundation Trust, involves providing expert dietetic oversight in a dynamic in-patient team at St Ann's Eating Disorders Service on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will deliver specialist dietary input to various patient groups, including in-patients, out-patients, and day-hospital attendees, addressing the complex psychological and social factors affecting dietary compliance. Key responsibilities include conducting clinical assessments, implementing nutritional guidelines, facilitating support groups, and collaborating with multidisciplinary team members to enhance patient recovery.

The position requires the ability to work autonomously within the eating disorders dietetic team while maintaining high clinical standards and flexibility across services. The Lead Dietitian will also provide critical advice for patients at high physical risk and contribute to the development of management guidelines to assist other healthcare professionals in acute settings. This role is essential for the delivery of comprehensive care to individuals with eating disorders throughout North Central and North East London.
