South Bucks Hospice is seeking a compassionate and forward-thinking individual to develop and drive our nursing service forward. The position holder will manage a small team of palliative care nurses and deputising for the Head of Clinical Services.

The successful candidate will be a registered nurse with at least 5 years experience. Previous experience and qualifications/training, in palliative care/oncology and management is most desirable.

About us

To lead the provision of specialist palliative care nursing at South Bucks Hospice as a member of the Clinical Leadership Team.

To oversee all aspects of the nursing services, including the management of the nursing team, the department activities and operational requirements in line with CQC standards through effective management, leadership and clinical expertise.

Lead on provision of high standards, audit and ethical practices with patients in line with their care plan.

To act in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)Code of Conduct and in line with South Bucks Hospice (SBH) policies and procedures.

To act as deputy, In the absence of the Head of Clinical Services.
