This is a role for a passionate and dedicated Female Brain Injury Support Worker to join the team in Southport, Lancashire. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive care and support to a client with reduced mobility, pain, shortness of breath, dysphasia, loss of hearing, and other psychological and cognitive symptoms.
The Brain Injury Support Worker will be responsible for engaging with personalized routines, completing daily living activities, administering medication, providing emotional support, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care for the client. The role requires previous experience in a similar role, the ability to deal with challenging behaviors, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate and empathetic nature.

Our client has reduced mobility with pain & shortness of breath, dysphasia, loss of hearing as well as other psychological and cognitive symptoms. Due to this there is a reduced functional capacity with activities and daily living.
The successful applicant will need to be have experience within brain injury support & due to the responsibilities surrounding the care, we are only able to consider applicants who have a full UK drivers license as well as access to their own vehicle.
Pay Rate:
£16.22 per hour
Working Hours:
Monday (either 5pm – 8pm or 6pm – 9pm)
Alternate Saturdays 10am – 4pm
Flexibility to pick up other shifts as and when needed
