The Wye Valley NHS Trust is seeking a Specialty Doctor in Orthogeriatric Medicine - Geriatric Medicine based in Hereford. This role, working Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00, is designed to support the orthogeriatric consultant and enhance patient care outcomes in collaboration with the Trauma & Orthopaedics (T&O) department. The doctor will provide high-quality care in general and geriatric medicine, assist frail patients in surgical wards, and contribute to developing a fracture liaison service. Responsibilities include supervising junior staff, participating in quality improvement initiatives, communicating with patients and healthcare providers, and providing teaching for nurses and medical students. There are opportunities for research involvement, and adherence to health and safety protocols is required. The position may close early due to high interest.
