We are looking for an experienced, courageous, ambitious, and responsive Registered Nurse to join our team as a Ward Manager.

The wards at POWCH provide care for patients requiring rehabilitation. The ward works with a Multidisciplinary team approach to providing excellent patient care for patients, offering support to families time to talk to your patient, build relationships, and be part of their recovery from admission to discharge.

If you have excellent clinical, communication and leadership skills and would like a new challenge within a community setting this would be an ideal post . Full support and induction would be given to the successful candidate.

Lead & manage hospital ward. Responsible for ward budget and overall responsibility for line management of staff within the ward. The role will require a high level of leadership and utilisation of motivational, innovation and change management skills.

Be an experienced clinician/therapist and be responsible for providing expert knowledge and skills to more junior members of the team and the provision of more complex care planning and care provision.

Be an integral member of the ward team, work collaboratively with all services and agencies, to facilitate patients in achieving maximum independence.

Have continuing responsibility for the designated ward
