The RTT and Referrals Coordinator at Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is responsible for managing patient journeys in alignment with NHS England Referral to Treatment (RTT) guidelines. This fixed-term office-based position involves processing both paper and electronic referrals across various specialties, ensuring timely and appropriate handling of external referrals, and monitoring the RTT Patient Target List. The coordinator will collaborate with the Operational Management Team and clinical staff to maintain accurate waiting lists, validate patient pathways, and investigate any complex cases.

Key responsibilities include registering referrals with the correct RTT clock start dates, addressing queries related to RTT performance, and supporting the administrative team with RTT processes. Additionally, the role requires regular review of data quality reports, identifying long wait cases, and fostering continuous professional development through training related to RTT requirements. The ideal candidate should possess strong organisational skills and a comprehensive understanding of RTT guidelines, contributing to the efficient delivery of patient care pathways.
