We are thrilled to present an exceptional fixed-term opportunity as a Lead Clinical Psychologist within the Southeast London Integrated Care System. We are actively seeking an experienced and autonomous individual to join our LD and Autism (LDA) STOMP team, focusing on behavior assessment, treatment planning, and evaluation for STOMP-eligible service users. Your role will be pivotal in reducing unnecessary psychotropic drugs in primary care and making a positive impact on the lives of individuals with learning disabilities and autism. As the ideal candidate, you should be self-motivated and possess extensive experience working with LDA service users in the community or primary care settings. Your expertise in service user case management and supporting NHS England's STOMP and STAMP priorities will be essential. Additionally, you should have experience in specialist assessment, intervention, and treatment evaluation for LDA service users, as well as a track record of managing complex caseloads and engaging with multi-disciplinary clinicians and service users. A secondment opportunity is available for current SLaM and Oxleas employees provided you have your line manager's approval. Joining our team provides an exciting opportunity to actively contribute to the reduction of psychotropic drug use among individuals with learning disabilities and autism, enhancing their overall well-being. If you are looking for a challenge and ready to undertake a specialist role then this may be just the job for you : Acting as the clinical psychology lead for LDA and STOMP, supporting behavioral support service strategies in STOMP across all six boroughs in SEL ICS. Conducting timely assessments for service users referred to the STOMP pathway, facilitating care planning and support during medicine optimization. Leading behaviour support for LDA service users before and during the reduction or optimisation of psychotropic drugs. Engaging with key team members, stakeholders, LDA service users, their carers, and GPs to facilitate relevant treatment plans, policies, and interventions. Embedding audit and training programs to improve the competencies of primary care network clinicians in STOMP and behavioral management. Receiving clinical supervision from the Clinical Director for Adult Learning Disabilities Services (Oxleas) for BBG work and the Consultant Psychologist (MHLD, SLaM) for LSL work. The post holder will have access to peer support from both teams as well as the ICS STOMP team.
