The South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Lead Clinical Psychologist in Learning Disabilities, Autism, and STOMP for a fixed-term position based in London Bridge. The successful candidate will work within the Southeast London Integrated Care System, focusing on behavior assessment, treatment planning, and evaluation for service users eligible for STOMP. This role is crucial in reducing reliance on psychotropic medication among individuals with learning disabilities and autism, enhancing their well-being. The ideal applicant should have extensive experience in community or primary care settings, specifically with LDA service users, along with expertise in managing complex cases and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities include acting as the clinical psychology lead for the LDA and STOMP programs, conducting assessments, facilitating care planning, and supporting medication optimisation. Additionally, the role entails engaging with stakeholders, developing treatment plans, and implementing training programs to improve the competencies of primary care clinicians in behavioral management. The position also offers supervisory support from various clinical leaders and access to peer support within the Integrated Care System.
