The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 8a Lead Nurse for Cardiology, focusing on Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) and Cardiac Rehabilitation. This leadership role involves providing evidence-based care across various sites, enhancing patient pathways, and supporting the integration of care throughout North Central London. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, experience in running nurse-led clinics, and a deep understanding of cardiology and specialist nursing.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, delivering specialized clinical care, managing clinical nurse specialists, and developing nursing programs tailored to patient needs. The post holder will also be involved in training and education initiatives, promoting continuous improvement in patient care through research and quality improvement activities, and serving as a visible role model within the nursing team.
