The South West London and St Georges Mental Health NHS Trust is seeking a full-time Consultant Liaison Psychiatrist for Kingston Hospital, offering a substantive contract with an established position. The role involves providing senior coverage to hospital wards and the Accident and Emergency Department, along with clinically supervising the Liaison Team. The psychiatrist will work with patients aged 18 and over, ensuring comprehensive care through a collaborative approach that integrates expertise in both Old Age Psychiatry and General Adult Psychiatry.

Key responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day clinical care, conducting risk assessments, managing complex cases, and ensuring the delivery of effective, recovery-focused mental health services. The role requires strong medical leadership within a multi-disciplinary team, availability for urgent reviews during normal working hours, and cooperation with social care and other partners.
