The East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking two motivated individuals to join their switchboard team at Ipswich Hospital. The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team. Candidates must be flexible to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with potential for home working in the future.

The main responsibilities include providing first-line support to patients, the public, and staff, handling emergency calls, operating various alarm systems, monitoring CCTV, and assisting with IT issues. The role will involve training for five weeks and requires maintaining knowledge of communication systems and emergency procedures. Additional duties include general administration and assisting the Switchboard Manager as needed.
