The Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual for the role of Renal Support Worker in the Renal Ambulatory Care Unit (RACU). The position involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients, primarily at St Luke's Hospital. The role encompasses both clinical and clerical duties, including greeting patients, preparing them for appointments, performing observations, and possibly conducting phlebotomy. Strong communication and IT skills are essential, as the role involves patient interaction and data collection using electronic patient records and software like Excel and Word.

Candidates are expected to have prior healthcare experience and a Diploma Level 3 in Health & Social Care, preferably with renal modules. While training for the specific requirements of the role will be provided, applicants should be capable of working independently as well as part of a team. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to the Transplant and Advanced Kidney Care Teams, emphasizing the importance of teamwork and initiative within the healthcare environment.
