The Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust is looking for a motivated and experienced HCPC registered therapist or nurse to join their Lymphoedema team in Truro. This role involves providing outpatient care from Monday to Friday, delivering specialist assessments and treatments for adults and children suffering from Primary and Secondary Lymphoedema and Lipoedema. Candidates should possess substantial post-graduate experience and excellent communication skills, with a willingness to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team. While clinical experience in Lymphoedema care is beneficial, the position also welcomes those eager to enter this specialty, as additional training will be offered.

In this position, the Lymphoedema Therapist will manage their own caseload, using specialized skills to diagnose conditions, create and implement treatment plans, and encourage patient self-management of their chronic conditions. Responsibilities will include the management of compression garments, skincare, exercise, and various forms of treatment such as manual lymphatic drainage and kinesiology taping. The role also involves supervising junior staff and contributing to service development based on current research, ensuring high-quality care and continuity for patients.
