We are looking for a competitive and competent Clinical band 7 clinician with a caring and positive attitude to join our team. We are based in St Peters Hospital in Chertsey and is core 24/7 days a week service. Our clinicians work longs days and unsocial hours including week ends and nights. We are an assessment and signposting service for patients in the general hospital, we also liaise with internal and external partners for signposting. We deliver teaching to the acute hospital staff and work collaboratively to deliver an excellent service. Our team consists of band 6, 7s nurses , a working age and older age consultant, clinical psychologist and service manager.

We are kind, compassionate and caring team and offer an assessment and signposting service for patients with mental health needs who attends the General hospital.

Our service have PLAN (Psychiatric Liaison Accredited Network) accreditation with the Royal college of Psych . We also have a good rating for our peer standard review. Our trust is supportive to staff with flexible working need.

By providing expert interventions and oversight to the care of people within the Acute General hospital pathway. I will ensure that the care delivered is excellent and in keeping with the most up to date guidelines.

I will support the growth and development of other members of the Liaison psychiatry team whilst supporting the service manager and wider Trust to achieve an exemplary CORE24 service underpinning our visions and values. My role will include providing education, challenging stigma and actively supporting service improvement and development.

I will put the experience of the person using the service at the centre of my decision making whilst building a supportive and responsive relationship with colleagues in the Acute Trust.

I will build outstanding relationships with all relevant services and will lead on clinically challenging and complex cases across the lifespan
