The Practice Plus Group in Southampton is seeking a full-time Patient Pathway Coordinator to join their dynamic administration team, which focuses on various specialties including Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, ENT, and Ophthalmology. The role involves managing appointment bookings from initial outpatient visits through to surgery and post-operative care, while maintaining high levels of patient contact via phone and in reception areas. The coordinator will work Monday to Friday, 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, with some flexibility required for covering staff absences.

Candidates should possess strong organisational and customer service skills, with prior experience in a similar environment being advantageous. Our administration and customer service hubs are organised by specialties which include Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, ENT and Ophthalmology. Each team is responsible for all appointment bookings, from the first Outpatient visit, to surgery and post-operative reviews and includes liaison with referrers and external providers of diagnostic services. As an integral part of the hospital, you will have a high level of patient contact over the telephone and in reception areas. Our focus at all times is on ensuring that our patients receive high quality service and treatment quickly, in clean and comfortable surroundings. This is a full-time permanent position Working Monday to Friday, from 9.30am - 5.30pm Some flexibility to cover sickness and annual leave

You will be an experienced administrator with

Strong organisational and customer service skills
Experience working within a similar environment would be an advantage
