The role of Senior Applied Psychologist/CBT Therapist at Kent & Medway NHS & Social Care Partnership Trust involves providing psychological practice to adults aged 18 and over with severe and enduring mental health issues. This position includes responsibilities such as delivering evidence-based psychological interventions, conducting comprehensive assessments, and formulating tailored treatment plans utilizing various therapeutic modalities. The successful candidate will engage in both direct therapeutic work and indirect consultative roles, ensuring clinical effectiveness through research, training, and development within the service.

Moreover, the role requires collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams to contribute specialist psychological advice on assessment and intervention plans while overseeing aspects of psychological care for service users and their families. The position offers part-time employment (minimum 3 days per week) with opportunities for full-time work, in line with the Trust's transition to place-based care models emphasizing home treatment and rapid response assessments.
