Are you an experienced
General Surgeon
on the
specialist GMC register
looking for a new full-time or part-time opportunity? Are you experienced in working in general surgery, especially laparoscopic procedures (hernia repair and cholecystectomy?
If so, why not bring your expertise and skills and join our multi-disciplined medical team and work at our Ilford hospital.
Your unfaltering dedication to quality is something you are very proud of; like us, you constantly strive to do things better for your patients. This ethos has led to you having a customer focused approach at all times when dealing with patients as part of a caring medical team.
This is a full-time role but happy to welcome part-time applications, ideally 2 - 3 days a week.

As our
General Surgeon
, you will provide a full range of surgical diagnosis, treatment and care to inpatients, day patients and outpatients who require general surgery.
Whilst the working week will comprise 40 hours (10 PAs), working patterns will be flexible and may entail an ad-hoc mix of late evenings and weekend work to meet the requirements of the unit.
There is no on-call commitment but you must be prepared to assess patients urgently in person on the unit as requested by the RMO on duty during routine working hours.
As a key member of the team, you will be working closely with our team of consultants across a wide range of specialisms and the hospitals Medical Director, Nurul, and local Leadership Team
