The Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust is seeking an Assessor/Trainer/Coach for Healthcare Apprentices to join their team on a temporary 15-month contract covering maternity leave. This Band 4 role involves delivering training and support for apprentices in Health Care Support Worker (L2 and L3) and Functional Skills (L1 and L2) programs. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills and a focus on both apprentice and quality outcomes, utilizing a blended teaching approach that includes both remote and in-person sessions.

Key responsibilities include assessing apprentices' knowledge and skills in accordance with the relevant standards, adapting teaching methods to meet individual apprentices' needs, maintaining documentation of progress, and collaborating with employers to discuss apprentice development. The successful applicant will play a pivotal role in guiding and motivating apprentices to achieve their full potential, ultimately preparing them for their End Point Assessment (EPA).
