Wrightington Wigan & Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a part-time Switchboard Operator for a 25-hour per week position within their busy Switchboard Department. The role requires flexibility to cover shifts around the clock, ensuring continuous service for both patients and staff. Key responsibilities include providing a comprehensive telephone service, handling incoming queries, monitoring alarm systems, and responding to emergency situations. Applicants should have experience in telephone communication, preferably in a hospital environment, and possess a strong telephone manner.
