The North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is looking to recruit a Band 6 Specialist Occupational Therapist for a full-time, 12-month secondment role at the West Cumberland Hospital in Whitehaven. The successful candidate will manage a designated caseload of patients, employing evidence-based, client-centered approaches to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions in both hospital and community environments. Collaboration with multidisciplinary team members and community services is essential to ensure effective discharge planning and rehabilitation. Additionally, the role involves providing leadership, supervision, and support to junior staff and occupational therapy students.
