The role of Band 6 Junior Sister/Charge Nurse in Critical Care at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust involves providing leadership and management support within one of the UK's leading critical care units. The successful candidate will act as a role model for junior staff, ensuring high standards of nursing practice are maintained. Key responsibilities include managing wards in the absence of the Senior Sister/Charge Nurse, overseeing staff deployment and supervision, and being a visible presence for patients and visitors.

Additionally, the Junior Sister/Charge Nurse will be tasked with fostering evidence-based nursing practice through the development and monitoring of care standards, while ensuring timely completion of clinical documentation and audits.
