The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a passionate Consultant Rheumatologist to join their team, offering a consultant-led service focused on building long-term doctor-patient relationships. The role includes managing outpatient consultations, day case rheumatology procedures, and inpatient referrals while providing support during colleagues' absences. There are no on-call duties or general internal medicine commitments, and the position can be structured as full-time or part-time, with opportunities to transition part-time roles into full-time through involvement in research or additional internal medicine responsibilities.

The position emphasises career growth through the development of special interests and research opportunities. With strong interdepartmental collaboration, particularly with orthopaedic teams, and access to dedicated outpatient facilities, physiotherapy, and hydrotherapy pools, the successful candidate will be supported in delivering high-quality rheumatology care.
