Job Summary: 111 Clinical Advisor (Registered Nurse/Paramedic) - Crawley
The South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SECAmb) is seeking qualified Band 6 Paramedics or Nurses to join their Integrated Care Contact Centres in Crawley and Gillingham. The role involves providing clinical support for NHS 111 calls, conducting telephone triage to ensure patients access appropriate care pathways and managing workload autonomously.
Candidates should have at least two years of post-registration experience in acute medicine, emergency departments, or primary/community care with strong telephone communication and patient consultation skills. Experience in telephone triage is a plus. The position also requires the ability to work under pressure, sound decision-making skills, and effective planning.
The role may also involve supporting 999 Emergency Operations during peak times, and full training will be provided. SECAmb values continuous improvement in care quality for the 4.9 million people they serve across the region.
