The Registration Authority Agent role at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust involves ensuring the proper registration of new and existing staff within the Care Identity Management (CIM) system and issuing NHS CIM Smartcards efficiently. The agent will support managers by providing guidance on the Registration Authority process, conducting necessary identity checks, and ensuring that access permissions are accurately assigned and updated—working closely with the HR team to manage changes in staff roles.

Additionally, the agent will help implement and maintain a help desk for the Registration Authority function, addressing queries and resolving issues for staff members at all levels. They will also assist in the development of new technical solutions related to identity management and adhere to data protection regulations, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of personal information throughout the process.
