The Head of Adult Therapies at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Tooting is a senior leadership role responsible for ensuring high standards and optimal performance across therapy services within the Care Group. The incumbent will provide operational and professional leadership, support the Site Chief Nurse on quality and patient safety initiatives, and guide therapy specialties such as nutrition, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, podiatry, and physiotherapy. Key responsibilities include developing evidence-based, innovative, patient-centered services, ensuring compliance with governance standards, and leading the achievement of performance targets, including quality of care and financial sustainability.

In this role, the Head of Therapies will oversee the day-to-day functioning of therapy services, promote integrated service delivery, and provide professional advice to senior leadership within the Trust. They will also be accountable for operational performance, including managing key performance indicators, preparing performance reports, and participating in the on-call rota. Collaboration with corporate teams to enhance data accuracy and effective reporting is essential for driving continuous improvement in service delivery aligned with Trust strategies.
