Band 4: £31,081 to £33,665 a year per annum inclusive of Outer London HCAS  FIXED TERM 
Your key responsibilities will be to provide a comprehensive and high-quality HR administration service.

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a driven and professional individual to work as a Apprentice People Services Officer.

Your key responsibilities will be to provide a comprehensive and high-quality HR administration service. You will work as part of team alongside other people services staff giving frontline advice and resolving queries on HR matters with a hint of enthusiasm and attention to detail!

In addition you will have excellent customer service and demonstrable ability to prioritise and communicate effectively whilst working to tight deadlines.

To provide a comprehensive and effective HR administrative service to support the smooth and efficient running of the People Services Hub working in a supervised and supportive environment.

To communicate effectively and courteously with a range of internal/external stakeholders.

Act as the first point of contact within the People Services team, providing day-to-day guidance and signposting managers and staff to the most appropriate People Services Advisor and People Services Manager.

To be responsible for processing all HR administrative work associated with changes during employment and terminations.

To work as part of a team alongside other People Services staff contributing to the efficient and effective running of all designated HR elements within the Directorate.

The post holder will work collaboratively work with the People Advisors and the People Services Assistant to ensure that employment checks such as DBS, Right to Work are monitored and are kept up-to-date.

To work with the wider People and Organisational Development Directorate to ensure there is an integrated People Service delivered to the Partnership.

Apprenticeship Overview

Alongside this role you will be completing the Level 3 HR Support apprenticeship. This programme will be integrated into day-to-day job role resulting in you gaining vital on the job experience to obtain a nationally recognised Level 3 Apprenticeship. The training for this programme will fully take place within working hours at your place of work.

With the support of an external training provider, you will have regular tutor meetings, access to workshops and protected study time for you to be able to successful complete this apprenticeship.

Apprenticeship Eligibility

To be eligible for apprenticeship funding, the successful candidate must meet the below requirements:

  • Not be in any other government funded education programmes.
  • Already have or are willing to work towards achieving your functional skills.
  • Be a UK/EU resident within the last 3 years.
  • Not have a qualification in the same field at the same level or higher.
