The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust is seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner for the Urgent Treatment Centre at New Cross Hospital. This role requires qualified candidates with a Band 8a level of experience, who are passionate about professional development and improving patient outcomes. The position involves working on a rostered basis, 24/7, and candidates should have completed an accredited Minor Injuries and Minor Illness module, as well as possess a non-medical prescribing qualification (V300).

As an Advanced Clinical Practitioner, you will provide evidence-based nursing care for patients with long-term conditions, minor ailments, and injuries, demonstrating strong clinical decision-making and critical thinking skills. The role entails assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, and may include treating both adult and pediatric patients. Additionally, you will support the training and development of junior practitioners and may be required to have experience in telephone triage. A willingness to undergo training in pediatric care is also preferred.
