The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Deputy Chief Technician for Clinical Trials at its Chelsea location. This role involves supervising and managing the daily operations of the Pharmacy Clinical Trials Good Clinical Practice (GCP) service and Clinical Trial dispensary, ensuring efficient and accurate service delivery. The successful candidate will work closely with the Chief Technician and other team members, including Pharmacists and Assistants, to support the development of innovative cancer treatments in collaboration with the Institute of Cancer Research.

The position requires coordinating and delivering training for staff to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies, assisting in the aseptic preparation of clinical trials, and potentially deputizing for the Chief Technician in their absence. With the opening of the new Oak Cancer Centre and the implementation of a digital health record system, the role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to transformative cancer care and research while working in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment.
