South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Midwife to join their outstanding maternity unit, where over 3,000 babies are born annually. The role involves providing high-quality, woman-centered care across various settings, including home births and hospital environments. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, be enthusiastic and self-motivated, and be willing to innovate and improve practice. Responsibilities include assessing and managing care during antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal periods, as well as supporting public health initiatives, such as breastfeeding promotion and parent education.

The Midwife will also be required to collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team, maintain professionalism according to the NMC Code of Conduct, and participate in continuous professional development and service improvements. The position requires flexibility to cover different shifts and settings, and the successful candidate should be competent in various clinical skills, including neonatal life support and intravenous drug administration.
