The Workforce Development Lead at South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust is tasked with the strategic development and sustainability of workforce initiatives aimed at enhancing clinical capacity and supporting educational efforts for registered Nurses, Midwives, and Allied Health Professionals (AHPs). Key responsibilities include implementing the Trust's workforce strategy, collaborating with educational bodies, and addressing workforce development challenges in alignment with local and national guidelines. The Lead will also manage professional development programs, oversee training initiatives, and support the transformation of the Nursing and AHP workforce to ensure a sustainable and skilled community.

In addition to strategic oversight, the role encompasses leadership responsibilities, communication with stakeholders, and the delivery of specific key performance indicators. The post holder will engage with various teams to foster a culture of best practices, ensure compliance with training standards, and promote research and educational opportunities. The position also requires the ability to manage complex workloads, maintain professional registrations, and uphold high standards of confidentiality and risk management within the Trust.
