Painswick Surgery is seeking a qualified Practice Nurse to join their Treatment Room Team, with a preference for candidates experienced in primary care. The role may also be open to Health Care Assistants or Phlebotomists looking for new challenges, and the surgery is flexible regarding full-time or part-time arrangements. The post holder will deliver general nursing services, focusing on areas such as chronic disease management, health promotion, wound care, and patient assessment, while also supporting the management team in clinical policy delivery.

Key responsibilities include developing care management programs for frail patients, implementing health promotion initiatives, conducting routine nursing care, and managing chronic and acute conditions. The Practice Nurse will ensure compliance with legislation, maintain accurate clinical records, and provide support for mental health needs and safeguarding. Additional duties involve developing nursing protocols, participating in audits, and coordinating the nursing team’s rota to meet patient needs effectively.
