The University Hospital of North Midlands is seeking an Advanced Training Fellow in Renal Medicine at their Royal Stoke University Hospital. This position offers comprehensive training akin to a recognized training post, with an allocated educational supervisor, opportunities for audits, and a supportive environment to enhance the fellow's CV. The role is designed for individuals considering a nephrology career or working toward article 14 and provides excellent training feedback from former post holders.

The fellow will join a team of healthcare professionals, engaging in clinical duties that encompass inpatient care on the renal ward, outpatient services, and cross-specialty referrals. The role includes participating in a 1:6 weekday on-call rota and a 1:3 weekend schedule. The renal unit is known for its exceptional standards of care, particularly in peritoneal dialysis and pre/post-operative care, and is located in the culturally diverse Stoke-on-Trent area, offering access to the Peak District National Park.
