Elysium Healthcare is seeking a General Adults Consultant Psychiatrist for a new acute Mental Health service, Dunnock View, set to open in Clacton-on-Sea in Summer 2024. The role involves taking on Responsible Clinician (RC) responsibilities, ensuring safe assessment, treatment, and discharge of patients, as well as overseeing medication management, quality assurance, and compliance with NICE guidelines. The consultant will also lead the CPA and ICR processes and participate in the on-call rota while contributing to the overall development of the service in collaboration with the senior leadership team.

Candidates should possess a medical qualification, MRC Psych or equivalent, alongside substantial experience in inpatient psychiatric settings and a strong understanding of current mental health developments.
