The Team Manager role at the Chichester clinic, part of the University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust, involves overseeing a small team of nursing and administrative staff within the Integrated Sexual Health Service. The successful candidate will ensure that the service meets contractual expectations and key performance indicators while providing high-quality care. Responsibilities include managing staff recruitment, sickness, competency, and disciplinary matters, as well as acting as a role model for best practices in sexual health. The Team Manager will also be expected to demonstrate clinical expertise, deliver patient care, maintain accurate records, and support learning opportunities for staff and students.

Additionally, the Team Manager will contribute to the planning and implementation of integrated sexual health services that align with local and national initiatives. They will represent the department in governance meetings, manage HR issues, and help drive research and audit efforts within the service. The candidate should possess UK NMC registration and relevant clinical skills in both Genito-Urinary Medicine (GUM) and contraception, with experience in department management and a commitment to a patient-first approach.
