MULTI-DISCIPLINARY NHS ON-CALL
The Consultant Radiologist with a Special Interest in Colorectal Imaging at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in Orpington will primarily focus on enhancing colorectal radiology and rapid diagnostic clinic services at the Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH) site while also supporting general radiology workloads. The role involves collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive radiology services, with opportunities for further subspecialist training. The position includes a commitment to teaching and training junior staff, maintaining high standards of clinical service, and participating in the on-call rota, which aims for a 1:16 frequency.

Key responsibilities include ensuring high-quality patient care, supervising junior medical staff, contributing to research and audit programs, and engaging with clinical governance initiatives. The role also entails maintaining relationships with clinical, medical, and managerial colleagues to foster a productive work environment, adhering to the Trust's operational policies, and taking part in infection control measures. The successful candidate will embody leadership qualities and be involved in the development of services within the Care Group, all while supporting the Trust's commitment to a 7-day service model.
