The Leeds Teaching Hospitals is looking for a driven and experienced Business Intelligence Lead (NIHR) to oversee and enhance the organisation's Business Intelligence function. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing teams, delivering BI solutions across multiple stakeholders, and translating technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Key responsibilities include line management of Business Intelligence Analysts and Data Scientists, developing user-driven outputs, and ensuring data integrity. Proficiency in data visualisation tools like Qlik or Tableau, as well as experience with relational databases, ETL processes, and cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure or AWS), is essential.

In this role, the Business Intelligence Lead will collaborate with the Assistant Director for Evaluation, Business Intelligence, and Impact to implement BI systems that align with NIHR objectives. The position involves managing reporting processes, producing analytical insights for strategic decision-making, and fostering communication with various stakeholders. Additionally, the role encompasses training staff on BI tools, enhancing data quality standards, and ensuring compliance with data governance regulations. Overall, this position plays a crucial part in bolstering the NIHR's mission to improve health and wealth through research by providing actionable insights and quality data outputs.
