The University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust is seeking a part-time LSP Secretary to join the Lumbar Spine Pathway administrative team. This role demands a motivated individual who can thrive in a busy environment and effectively prioritize their workload. Responsibilities include booking, administrative, and secretarial support for the Lumbar Spine Pathway, managing referrals, preparing clinic notes, typing correspondence, and supervising administrative staff. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and IT skills, exhibit a flexible attitude, and use initiative within the established guidelines.

Working hours consist of 7.5 hours on Monday and Tuesday, and 6.75 hours on Wednesday. Preference will be given to internal Trust staff and those with NHS 'Priority' or 'At Risk' status. The role involves managing appointments, waiting lists, and the coordination of patient interactions, requiring strong organisational skills and the ability to liaise with patients, GPs, and other agencies effectively.
