This is an exciting role, working in a fast paced working environment within a well-established, multi-disciplinary team. As a service we are looking for individuals who are genuinely warm and engaging, patient focused and with a passion for working with Older Adults.
We are looking for a part time Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our team.
As an Occupational Therapist in the team, you will support patients who would benefit from occupational therapy intervention.
- You will play a key role in delivering holistic, person-centred assessments and therapeutic interventions.
- This will include offering clinical advice on the assessment and intervention of clients' occupational and functional needs.
- You will work as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
- You will embrace the delivery of best practice guidelines for Mental Health and Occupational Therapy.
- Working as Duty Worker is part of this role.
- You will need to be a dynamic clinician with good interpersonal skills to enable engagement of service users and their families or carers.
- You will be able to make complex decisions, formulate detailed assessments and person-centred care plans.
- Supporting students during their placement.
- Supervision of junior staff including Occupational Therapists.
- Professional development, learning, supervision, wider support and training is provided.
