The South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust is seeking a motivated General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist to join the Central Wandsworth & West Battersea Integrated Resource Hub based at Springfield Hospital, London. This substantive position offers 10 Programmed Activities (PAs) with an optional additional PA for two years to enhance specialized skills in community services. The role involves providing high-quality psychiatric care and clinical leadership to working-age adults experiencing severe mental illness, participating in a multi-disciplinary team, and collaborating with various other services such as Assessment and Home Treatment Teams.

The post-holder will be responsible for training psychiatry trainees and engaging with medical students from St George's University, while also contributing to initiatives aimed at reducing ethnic disparities in mental health care. Applicants should be GMC-registered and possess S12 approval or be nearing eligibility as a high trainee. Responsibilities include patient assessments, treatment planning, risk management, and liaising with other healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering effective, recovery-focused mental health care through collaborative and structured team dynamics.
