Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a qualified Health Visitor to join their Sunderland 0-19 Service. This role aims to enhance public health outcomes for children and families through high-quality health visiting and school health services. The Health Visitor will be responsible for preventing ill health and promoting holistic well-being, acting as an advocate for clients and the community. Candidates should possess strong leadership and supervisory skills, have a full UK driving license, and access to their own transport.

The Trust offers comprehensive support to new Health Visitors, including a full induction, a 2-year Preceptorship Programme for newly qualified nurses, and leadership development opportunities. Health Visitors will work collaboratively with families and multi-disciplinary teams, delivering care programs and conducting ongoing assessments in accordance with national and local policies.

Health Visitors plan, organise and deliver programmes of care in conjunction with the family and the multi-disciplinary team and undertake continuous on-going assessment of children, young people and families. They provide an evidenced based service to children, people, families and communities in accordance with National and Local Policy initiatives.
