The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital is seeking a qualified Sonographer to join their Imaging team, either full-time or part-time, in anticipation of the new Community Diagnostic Centre set to open in February 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing and reporting on a variety of ultrasound scans, including obstetric, gynecological, and general abdominal examinations, while also mentoring new staff and students. The role requires strong communication skills to effectively discuss findings with patients and collaborate with clinicians, all while adhering to departmental protocols and contributing to a high-quality, compassionate healthcare environment.

Candidates must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or a relevant professional register, and possess postgraduate qualifications in ultrasound. The position demands a capacity to work autonomously across various locations and shift patterns as part of a 7-day service, emphasizing dedication to excellence in patient care and an ability to manage varying workload demands efficiently.
