Partnering Health Ltd is seeking Forensic Healthcare Professionals (FHCPs) to join their team in Telford, West Mercia. In this role, you will collaborate with police officers to assess and treat individuals detained in police custody, evaluating their mental health, substance use, and medical needs. Your responsibilities will include conducting forensic medical examinations, providing appropriate healthcare interventions, and maintaining accurate records to ensure the wellbeing of detainees.

The position requires working 42 hours per week, with part-time contracts available, offering a salary of £40,000 FTE. FHCPs will play a vital role in determining detainees' fitness for various legal processes, conducting health assessments related to intoxication or medical conditions, and supporting custody staff in addressing healthcare needs. Candidates must adhere to the NMC code of conduct, engage in continuous professional development, and foster collaborative relationships with colleagues and external healthcare providers to deliver a high-quality service in a challenging environment.
