An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of the Mental Health In-Reach to Schools service
The Mental Health In-Reach to Schools team works to improve the well-being of pupils in Secondary Schools and Primary Schools by developing school staff's skills and confidence to support pupils with lower-level mental health and well-being needs within their competence/within their role as teachers; and enables access to specialist provision where this is indicated.
You will play a key role in delivering team outcomes by working in partnership with schools, providing consultation, supervision and training to teachers and other key professionals; and working collaboratively with staff at a range of levels and from a range of agencies to support a whole-school approach to improving mental well-being. While much of your clinical work will be indirect, you may provide direct clinical services (including assessment of need and provision of therapeutic interventions) as required.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
