The Mental Health In-Reach to Schools Practitioner position with Aneurin Bevan University Health Board in Caerleon focuses on enhancing the well-being of students in both Secondary and Primary Schools. The role involves collaborating with schools to develop the skills and confidence of teachers in addressing lower-level mental health and well-being needs while facilitating access to specialist support when necessary. The practitioner will provide consultation, training, and supervision to school staff, aiming for a comprehensive approach to mental health within the educational setting.

While the role primarily entails indirect clinical work through training and consultation, the practitioner may also deliver direct clinical services, including needs assessment and therapeutic interventions.
