The Occupational Health Specialist Lead Nurse at Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (CTMUHB) and Cardiff and Vale University Health Board (CAVUHB) is responsible for managing and developing an effective Occupational Health service to enhance the physical, mental, and social well-being of all employees. This role involves collaborating with senior management to create a unified approach across both health boards. The Lead Nurse will provide quality healthcare, advise staff on health hazards related to their work, and oversee a team of Occupational Health nurses and physiotherapists, while also maintaining a small clinical caseload.

Additionally, the role requires professional nursing leadership to uphold high standards in clinical practice, ensuring a quality learning environment. The Lead Nurse will influence policy development and implementation within the organisation, promoting the overall objectives of the Occupational Health service. Proficiency in Welsh is desirable for applicants, reflecting the commitment to inclusivity in communication.
