ProblemShared is seeking an experienced Autism Clinician to join our growing Autism contracting team. We are looking for a motivated individual who wants to work in a high-performance team at a scaling health technology company and have responsibility for driving our business growth from day one. Our digital journeys are right at the heart of what we do and our goal is to offer seamless digital experiences to support exceptional healthcare.
The role involves providing remote ASC assessments as part of a team of two clinicians.
One practitioner delivers the ADOS-informed assessment while the other undertakes the ADI-R.
Ability to undertake both ADOS and ADI-R is desired. MDTs are held when required with Team Leads and, where warranted, with input from our psychiatry colleagues.
Use clinical judgement and experience to make treatment decisions using highly developed skills and knowledge regarding management of adults and young people with Autism.
Exercise autonomous professional responsibility for diagnostic decision making within competence, with supervision from Team Leads.Complete risk assessments and review safeguarding needs during ongoing patient care.
Ensure accurate and timely client records are kept on the clinical platform. Reports should be written professionally and completed within expected timeframes.
Make recommendations on any additional assessments or interventions required (as appropriate) to the client within the report.
Work closely with senior leadership team on the further development of the Autismpathways.
Provide consultation and training to other members of staff to develop skills in this area of expertise.
Maintain registration with the appropriate governing body (NMC/HCPC).
Access regular clinical supervision, management supervision, NMP supervision and multi-disciplinary team meetings/case discussions.

The day is set up so in the morning, one practitioner delivers the ADOS-informed assessment while the other undertakes the ADI-R then swap for the the afternoon session.
