The Clinical Fellow in Major Trauma position at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust offers a unique opportunity to work in an Adult Major Trauma Centre and Paediatric Major Trauma Unit. The role involves a balanced mix of clinical duties and supervised project work, with an 80:20 split. The Fellow will be involved in managing critically injured patients, participating in daily multidisciplinary team board rounds and ward rounds, and receiving support from a skilled team of trauma consultants and coordinators. The position requires a full-time commitment with a 24-hour shift pattern that includes nights and weekends.

This role is particularly suited for individuals who have completed foundation training and are looking to gain further experience before pursuing specialist training or considering a change in specialty. Candidates will receive pastoral and educational support throughout their tenure, with opportunities to enhance their applications for future specialty training. The post offers flexibility for both full-time and less-than-full-time appointments, encouraging professional development within a supportive trauma care environment.
