ROLE MODEL
Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is seeking a dedicated Infection Prevention Nurse to join their Infection Prevention and Control Team in Bangor. The ideal candidate will be a registered healthcare professional with experience in a proactive infection prevention team, showcasing a commitment to maintaining high standards in infection prevention. This role involves supporting the leadership and management of the Infection Prevention Service across both Primary and Secondary care, promoting patient safety, and mentoring junior staff.

Excellent interpersonal skills are crucial as the Infection Prevention Nurse will collaborate with various disciplines within both acute and community settings, providing expertise on infection-related issues while also promoting the HABITS Campaign. Applicants must currently be employed by Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, and the ability to speak Welsh is desirable.
