The University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Booking Administrator for the Respiratory Centre. This part-time role, requiring 22.5 hours per week over three days, involves providing excellent customer service to patients and external agencies, managing appointments for Pulmonary Function Tests, and ensuring efficient clinical processes. Key responsibilities include registering referrals, booking and confirming appointments, maintaining waiting lists, and facilitating communication with patients regarding their appointments.

The ideal candidate will be an organized and enthusiastic team player, possessing strong telephone and interpersonal skills. The role also includes cross-cover for team members, ensuring continuity of administrative support within the Care Group. Additional tasks involve arranging transport and translation services as needed, processing changes to clinic and admission schedules, and maintaining accurate records to support efficient patient care in line with the Trust's policies.
