Band 8a: £53,755 to £60,504 a year Pro Annum  PERMANENT 

We have an exciting opportunity for a professional lead for Speech and Language therapy to professionally lead both the acute and community teams in Royal Cornwall Hospital Trust and Cornwall Foundation Trust. This post has a key focus on growing our workforce for the future, retaining and developing our staff to be the best they can and have an amazing career here in Cornwall. To provide professional strategic over sight from local and national perspectives on health, education and social care development and service delivery, advising the Associate Director AHP's, Integrated therapy Lead, Therapy managers, Area Directors, Triumvirate Managers and other operational managers across organisations.

To work collegiately with operational managers to ensure the current workforce is appropriately trained and have the appropriate skill mix. Contribute to the development of future workforce planning in conjunction with HR and operational managers and taking into account cost impact of strategic workforce planning of professional groups
